Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Forma Real collects when you use our text-message service, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to get you a competing price on work you have already been quoted for:

• Your mobile phone number, so we can reply to you.
• What you tell us about the job — the work, the price you were quoted, and the company that quoted it.
• Photos you send of the problem, so a provider can see what they would be bidding on.
• The service address where the work would happen.
• A callback number for the provider who wins the job, if different from the number you text from.
• Payment information, collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.

We do not collect location data from your device, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not buy information about you from anyone.

How we use it

We use your information to describe the job to nearby providers, to send you the prices they offer, and to process payment if you book one. That is all.

What we share, and when

When we ask providers to bid, they see the work and the general area — the street name, not the house number — along with any photo you sent. They do not see your name, your phone number, or your exact address.

Your full address and callback number are released to one provider only: the one you choose to book. Providers who did not win the job never receive them.

We also share information with the companies that run parts of our service for us: Stripe for payments, and our messaging carrier for delivering texts. They may use it only to provide that service to us.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Text messaging and your consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You consent to receive text messages from us by texting us first, or by giving your number on our intake form and agreeing to be contacted. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never rent or trade your phone number.
• We never share your mobile opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.
• We never send you marketing texts. Every message we send is about a job you started.

How long we keep it

We keep job records for two years so we can resolve disputes and meet our tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will, unless we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction.

Your choices

Write to support@formareal.co and you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have these rights under that law and we honour them for everyone regardless of where you live. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.

Security

Job information is stored on access-controlled servers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Payment details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if information about you is exposed.

Children

Our service is for adults arranging work on property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date. If the change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you by text before it takes effect.
