These terms govern your use of Forma Real. By texting us or booking a provider through us, you agree to them.
Forma Real is a marketplace. You tell us what a contractor has quoted you for a home repair. We describe that job to other licensed providers nearby and ask whether any will do it for less. If one will, we pass you the price. If you accept, we introduce you and process payment.
We are not a contractor. We do not perform repairs, we do not employ the providers who bid, and we do not supervise their work. Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, and workmanship.
Forma Real runs entirely over text message. By taking part you agree to the following.

confirmation and then nothing further.HELP or email support@formareal.co.A price a provider offers is an estimate based on what you described. If the provider arrives and finds the job is materially different from your description, the price may change — and you may decline the work at that point.
Our fee is 10% of the job value, added to the provider's price at checkout. The provider receives their full bid. The fee is capped so that it never exceeds 40% of what you saved against your original quote. You see the total before you pay.
Payment is processed by Stripe. You agree to pay for work through our platform rather than directly with the provider, since that is how we are paid for the introduction.
A job is booked when you accept a price. At that point we release your address and callback number to that provider and to no one else. Cancel before the provider is dispatched and you owe nothing. After that, the provider's own cancellation terms apply.
Providers who bid through Forma Real agree to hold current licensing and insurance for the work they take, to honour the price they bid absent a material change in scope, to complete work to professional standard, and to accept payment through the platform rather than soliciting the customer directly.
If work is unsatisfactory, take it up with the provider first — they performed it and they are responsible for it. Tell us as well. We will help where we reasonably can, and we may remove a provider from the platform. We are not liable for the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of work performed by an independent provider.
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that any provider will bid on your job, that any bid will beat your original quote, or that a provider will be available in your area.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the job in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including property damage caused by a provider.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using Forma Real at any time by replying STOP. We may suspend
access for anyone who abuses the service, misrepresents a job, or attempts to route payment
around the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address with its date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
